*Update – VOD (Comcast)

Hi folks!

Some of you have left comments and messages regarding last week’s post about menu changes that are taking place on Comcast VOD.

Just letting you guys know that Comcast’s operations is looking into those issues and trying to resolve them as quickly as possible. Some sites may have experienced refresh issues last week. Cities that were affected were:

Chicago, IL
Atlanta, GA
Nashville, TN
Burlington, VT

The issue is the system that is supposed to receive new content – or as they say the catcher system – is not properly receiving new content.

Comcast has already issued trouble tickets for those sites. If you are a Comcast VOD customer and have noticed missing content since 2/5 and your city was not listed above, please send an email to info at funimationchannel dot com and list your city, zip code and briefly explain the issue.

And now for today’s lineup on Comcast VOD:

I know some of you have left comments asking for changes to the linear schedule – looking for titles to return or just having a new slew of titles airing. I’ll let you know when I learn more about those changes. In the meantime, jump here for the latest grid info.

Next week we will have the premiere debut of Evangelion 1.11 You Are [Not] Alone on Comcast VOD. Tell your friends, your family, your pets, your lovers that this movie is a big deal to air in the US and that it shouldn’t be missed.

And now for something not anime-related:

Who do you think will win Super Bowl XLIV this weekend? New Orleans Saints or Indianapolis Colts? And are you excited about The Who performing at the half? Leave your answer in the comments below. Game on!

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood on Adult Swim

I’m sure a lot of you internet super sleuths have already found out that Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood is going to be airing on Adult Swim.  I’m just here to confirm the good news.  Here’s the jist of it, but you can read the entire press release here: http://funimation.com/f_index.cfm?page=news&id=619

The series will air at 12:00 a.m. ET/PT each Saturday beginning February 13.  You can refresh yourself on the English cast here.

If you want to stay ahead of the game, you can continue to watch new English subtitled episodes straight from Japan on FUNimation.com/Video.  Don’t forget Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood – Part 1 will be available on DVD & Blu-ray on May 25th.

Anyone going to have a late night Adult Swim watching party for FMA:B’s debut?

Fullmetal Alchemist – Brotherhood: Episode 42

Can you believe we’re already up to episode 42 for FMA – Brotherhood?  It seems like just yesterday that we started streaming the series.  Have you seen all the episodes to date?  Honestly, I haven’t and have some catching up to do. Maybe I should just clear a weekend and veg out on FMAB episodes.  It’s embarrassing when someone talks FMA to me and I’m like, “Uhh… I dunno.”  And then they’re like, “But you work at FUNimation!”  Though, there’s not enough hours in the day to watch all our content, so I guess I’ll just have to deal.

What would you say your average weekly anime intake is?
