Some very educated guesses I’m seeing. Even a few of you have hit it right on the nose… but which ones? Think we’ve found out that you guys are too clever for hints. Or do you like trying to figure them out?

It’s been official: The Japanese anime industry and its fanbase are allergic to guys who kick butt and take names without looking like some steroid addict. They like invincible self-inserts and princes more than those who work hard to get where they are.

I’m REALLY excited about this series getting licensed! I can’t wait till it’s released! I’m hoping Rosario + Vampire and Strike Witches will eventually be licensed since they are Gonzo series as well.

So when are we EVER going to get more news about this series? It’s been five months and all we know is that the DVDs are scheduled for a 2009 release. Hell, we don’t even know if it’s being dubbed.

^This. Funimation has officially stated that their policy is to keep doing English dubs until they are no longer possible at all. (Given that they appear to be getting stronger finacially speaking while everyone else is dying, I’d say they’ve got a winning strategy.)
They’ve got a lot of shows coming out. They managed some great deals all at once while at the same time having to let go of some of their support staff due to the economy and their parent company making some changes, so you’ve got to give them a little leeway right now.

Or are the jokes just too hard to translate, maybe it’s the dialect?
The Blu-ray is hitting Japan starting in March… maybe I’ll just import those…
