Anime at the Alamo

Alamo Drafthouse

Our wonderful friends at the Alamo Drafthouse have been showing FUNimation anime at a couple locations in Texas.  It’s been a minute since we’ve given them a shout out for raising awareness for our anime.  If you’re not familiar with them here’s some quick info I pulled off their website:

If you live near one of the locations, be sure to stop by sometime.  Tell them FUNimation sent you and that they rock.  Each theater has different days dedicated to anime so be sure to go to www.drafthouse.com and check the schedule.  Here’s our list of titles that will be shown in the upcoming weeks:

Well this is a good Chance for more people to see Kanon and Air in all there epic Glory. I wanna watch :( I wish I could get in my private jet at any time I want to but sadly I don’t have one :( People who are in the Area you are lucky to be able to see Kanon and Air like this, Murder Princess looks epic enough I was sold when i saw the trailer so I wouldn’t mined seeing that one to, Waiting on the box set for Baccano so don’t know to much about that.

You guys should put Air and Kanon on your video portal. So when some one asks me what is Air and Kanon I can slap them then have a place to link them. (I gotta work a little harder for Clannad >_>)

Wish I lived in Texas. Every day I wish I lived there more. It’s a great way to get more people exposed to anime and those are some good choices. AIR and Kanon are two of my top 10 series. Baccano, Heroic Age and Murder Princess are on my To Buy list.

@ Rojas: this is off-topic but do you know when episode 26 of Shikabane Hime will be up on the Video Portal? It’s been a while since the last new episode and my sister and I really want to see how it ends.

Is this Drafthouse Cinema a movie theatre that serves beer? If it is, that is awesome!

Is there any chance that they’ll be doing stuff like this in any of the Austin locations in the future?

D: Of course Baccano! V.2 is when I still have Japanese class. Kannon too :< I guess I get to enjoy Last Exile when I’m done with finals. But I WILL, since this is win and I have always been too lazy when classes weren’t in the way.
