ANN Shelf Life – The Count of Monte Cristo, Project Blue Earth SOS, Negima!?, Genghis Khan, & Shigurui
Bamboo Dong over at AnimeNewsNetwork.com did a nice little write-up on some of our release for their Shelf Life segment. Here are some excerpts from her review.
“It’s easily one of the best series I’ve seen in recent years, and it’s one title that I recommend to almost everyone who asks.”
“Project Blue Earth SOS has the great feeling of an old sci-fi flick. “
“In short, I think Negima!? is a lot of fun. It’s a lot cuter and more innocent than Negima!, and I feel like it’s more accessible.”
Genghis Khan: To the Ends of the Earth and Sea
“This is a well-made film about a subject that isn’t very well-known in America. It looks gorgeous in high-def, too, especially those expansive battles.”
“This show is grotesque enough, what with all the beheadings, and people ripping their guts out, without seeing someone’s skull get hacked up in all its crisp, 1080p detail. But it does look nice, so… you know, enjoy your bloodlust however you want to, I guess.” (I like this one.)

They did this last week as well. Nice to see
I liked Xebec’s Negima better; not as random.
And I’m still waiting for GONZO to do Negima. Just so I can have fun with the in-jokes about the English voice actresses and their other works:
* Ayaka being Michel from Glass Fleet.
* Sakurako being Ester from Trinity Blood.
* Mana being Claire from Claymore.
* Haruna being Rinslet from Black Cat.
* Chisame cosplaying as every character Caitlin Glass voiced.
* Et cetera.
moemonday was fun.
kanon took a slight hit though
hearing about negima!? compared to negima!
made me consider buying it for my cousin who is a little too young for fanservice oriented shows but seems to find negima the most hilarious manga on earth. I really hope she doesn’t try to form her own harem.
