San Gatsu no Madness – Championship results
Alright, here are the final results of this years San Gatsu no Madness.
In the end only one team could win it all. And here it is, the championship match-up. I hope you all enjoy the tournament. The battle was long and hard and the winner deserved every bit of acclimation they have received. Now on to the game highlights.
D Gray-Man vs. Fullmetal Alchemist
There was a team of destiny out there, all right. It’s the Fullmetal Alchemist team, and the final chapter of their story was about as heartwarming as a demolition derby. The Elric brothers, Edward and Alphonse, and FMA team won a championship a long time in the making, stomping out D Grayman’s inspirational run with a 89-72 blowout that wasn’t even that close.
Edward Elric scored 18 points, Roy Mustang had 19 and Alphonse Elric led all scorers with 21 and also had a record eight steals. The D Grayman team, who beat two #1 teams to get to the championship, just seamed to run out of gas at the end of the stretch. “They were just the better team tonight,” said D Grayman team captain Allen Walker. “We congratulate them on their win and will see them next year.”
As fans watched the members of the FMA team take turns cutting down the net with the confetti still coming down from the rafters it makes you wonder if they are already thinking about next year. But for now, it was time for celebration.
We at FUNimation hope you enjoyed the tournament this year and let us know what you thought of it, good and bad. We may do it again next year. As for who won the free box set for picking FMA to win? Well you will just have to wait till later today to hear from Rojas about that. ^_^

i thought it was a fun side activity, and as always, contests for FREE DVDs are welcome! ;D i’m ready for next year!
small note: i don’t usually nitpick on grammar/spelling errors on this blog (i’m obviously pretty laid back about it in my own non-capitalized writing), but i’m pretty sure you meant “acclaim,” not “acclimation,” in your first paragraph. totally different. ^^;

I THINK THAT FUNAMATION SHOULD CONTINUE DRAGONBALL GT OR START DRAGONBALL AF BECAUSE THERE ARE ALOT OF FANS OUT THERE THAT LOVE DRAGONBALL. IF THEY CONTINUED IT THEY WOULD MAKE ALOT OF MONEY$$$$$$$,AND IF THEY DONT WANT TO START A NEW SERIES THEY SHOULD AT LEAST MAKE A COUPLE OF MOVIES FOR THE PEOPLE WHO REALLY ENJOY THE SHOW AND THE SPECIALS AND THE MOVIES. LIKE THE LAST MOVIE: A HEROES LEGACY. AND PAN AND PUCK GO OUT TO FIND THEM AND GOKU JR. WISHES HIS ANCESTORS BACK TO LIFE. THEY SHOULD MAKE A MOVIE LIKE THAT OR SOMETHING. I HOPE THAT EVREYONE READS THIS INCLUDING THE FUNIMATION AND TOEI PEOPLE I HOPE IT GIVES THEM AN IDEA OF A NEW MOVIE CAUSE THERE ARE ALOT OF DB , DBZ AND DBGT FANS OUT THERE AND THEY WOULD ALL ENJOY A NEW MOVIE OR SERIES.
