Not a fan of Evangelion but I will buy it to Support FUNimation. Will it be released on Blu-Ray? I am not a Blu-Ray manic, Just asking.
Edit: Will this be released in 2009?

Sweet, me likey. These all sound like perfect casting. I will miss the old Ritsuko, but I’m really glad Allison Keith was able to reprise Misato. Very surprised Spike Spencer came back, but not disappointed.

THIS IS BULL CRAP REI Being voiced by some1 else other than Amanda Winn Lee unacceptable.
There should be 4 voice actors u can’t change unless they die or something serious happens REI,SHINJI,Askua and MISATO these are the legacy of the evangelion voice actors. I heard a ton of rumors that you guys over at funimation couldn’t cut this project and now i’m certain of it.
How could you not have cast Amanda Winn Lee for Rei.
As a evangelion fan I say You ppl have disgraced the series horribly.
You know wat would have happen if you pulled this crap over in japan.
They would have rioted in the streets.
I would really reconsider if i were you to change your mind and bring back
Amanda Winn Lee for rei.

Considering the fact that Shinji and Mistao both got their original voice actors back, you can tell FUNimation tried their best to get the original main cast back.
Thus, in this situation you can conclude that Amanda Winn Lee obviously felt no need to go all the way to Texas just to voice Rei again. FUNimation can’t force people to play a role, and you should be greatful for the voice actors they did get back.
