New Acquisition Announced at Anime Boston
If you haven’t heard yet, we’ve announced a new license. Gia over at AnimeVice.com also had a bit of coverage on the acquisition. It’s been a few days already due to memorial day, but I still need to follow up on it. Since pictures can be easier to remember than words, how about I show you what FUNimation has picked up. You know what they say, “A picture is worth a thousand words.” Well this picture is worth three.

Hunting for riches more precious than gold.
Synopsis:
Lawrence, a traveling merchant searching for profit, finds a naked girl with the ears and tail of a wolf asleep in his cart. Her name is Holo – a harvest goddess with an untamed beast lurking inside who longs to return to her beloved northern home. Armed with his street smarts and her animal instincts, a simple peddler and a forgotten deity begin a journey through the wild countryside. Along their path, the riches of happiness shall be reaped, even as the bankruptcy which dwells in the human heart is exposed.

While I personally didn’t care so much for this show (I only liked the last episode really), I have friends who fawn over this thing. It’s in many of their top 3 favorites. Sounds like a good pick-up to me.

Anyway I tried to watch this show and I was so Bored. I gave it 2 chances and was just plan bored! I will give it one more chance in English but if still bored no buy. Sorry dudes but I hope everyone else is happy.

I’m planning to pick this series up. I haven’t seen it yet, but it sounds like a title that I’ll enjoy.

Hopefully Spice Wolf will be a good series..but I hope there are plans to license both seasons(assuming of course only the first season was license since that is the only one Kadokawa USA licensed) as opposed to just the first one. License XXXHolic: kei please! Have a nice day!
