Okay I’ll stop mentioning Kodomo No Jikan and School Days even though i havent finished the latter it seemed like a good anime. I’ve never seen Bakemonogatari or A Certain Magical Index are they good animes?

Mario is right about one thing, some extra titles could be added, but I will hold off for now with laying more titles on them.

don’t let mario 1-7 bully you, if you like kodomo no jinkan and school days, don;t be afraid to voice your opinion about wanting them licensed, if kanokon can get licensed, and get an english dub, who knows what will get released next……
also Bakemonogatari and A Certain Magical Index, are worth taking the time to watch.. in my opinion..

You’ve done it. Flawless victory. The anime industry between the US and Japan is completely controlled by and made for the hardliner otaku-tachi.
It’s like Gundam Seed Destiny; where Shinn Asuka wasn’t really the main protagonist (because the spotlight was on Kira and Athrun after all) and the storyboarders gave us the “Mary Sue” type of ending.
Speaking of “Mary Sue,” I was given the impression that people look down on bad fanfiction. Just because said fanfiction gets some magnificently done animation doesn’t mean that it should get praised and such.

Well to make you happy, i’ll be buying Buso Renkin in a few weeks since i luckily found both DVD sets at a (unpopular) nearby FYE for $50 each.
This’ll most likely be my last Viz purchase until they either license or finish something that i want.

I’d be happier if the US ultimately takes their collective cues, grabs a set of balls and spine, and start making cartoons as attractive as Japan does.
But you know what’s even more hilarious?
The people behind Haruhi (KyotoAnimu, Kadokawa, and Bancolding$ also) had to pay, photoshop, browbeat, and remove insulting comments in order to force their idea of anime (which is “animu”) into the mainstream. And “Snickering…’s” still trying to put “Evangelion” and “mainstream” into the same sentence without any backlash.
And all it took was a son of an 80’s rock band guitarist to shine the light on what he’s been ripping off. Whooda thunk? Bleach? KISS? Gene Simmons and his son Nick? I mean… Just imagine how much of a loser Nick would be right now if he ripped off something that’s based on some blithering dating simulator.
And Viz? …well… I ain’t got nothing bad to say about them except that they need a date of release for Vampire Knight 1 & 2. And I also need to buy the DVD boxsets of Bleach.
