Anime in the Garden State

A tornado just came a bit too close to FUNimation than I, and most of us in the office, are comfortable with. So I’m getting out of town for a bit.

Anime Next – be there!

FUNimation will be at the Garden State Exhibit Center in Somerset, NJ for Anime Next this weekend.  You should come out and say hi.  Oh, and there will be lots of anime and anime type things going on as well.  Here is what we have planned for the show.  Of course if you want just the facts check out funimation.com/conventions.

If you check out the Exhibit Hall we will be at booth 301 & 200.  Come by for free stuff and DVD or two that I’m certain you will want to add to your collection.  How about some DVD’s not in stores yet?  Here is a few you can pick up from us exclusively:

Baccano Volume 4

Black Cat Viridian Collection box set

D Grayman Season 1 part 2 box set

Darker Than Black Volume 5

Kenichi Season 1 Part 2

Romeo X Juliet Part 1

We also have a few items that you can score if you pick up some DVD’s at our booth while supplies last.
- D Grayman t-shirt (Free with purchase of D Grayman DVD or more than $50)
- Kenichi Wristbands, 2 variants (Free with purchase of Kenichi DVD or more than $50)
- Shin chan candles (Free with purchase of Shin chan DVD or more than $50)

The D Grayman t-shirts are a special treat since originally they were not going to be ready for Anime Next but thanks to some luck you can get one at the show this weekend.

There will be panels and screenings as well so be sure to check the show program guide for more details.

Sorry to make this a quick one guys but more storms on the way and the office lost power once already.

    I will be at Otakon! Bring a camera if you want to take pictures of the Sexiest man Alive! ^_^ Remember I will be dressed as Zetsubou Sensei. And I am gonna try to dress as others (No Money) Remember have xxxHolic Complete set for me and License something for my epic appearance…….

    Oh and Good luck with the Weather. Down here in SC we are experiencing Lightning storms as we speak.

    I’m going to anime Next. I saw last night that you guys had a booth and I got all excited. I’ll defiantly drop by. I may be Cosplaying as Sexy-Jitsu Naruto or Misa from Deathnote…..

    Yikes, hope the storms miss ya’ll entirely! Outside of personal family tragedy, nothing would make me sadder than Funimation taking a hit. (Unless it was a minor thing that yields a more lucrative insurance payment than needed to fix the damage. :twisted: )

    I was thinking about going to Anime Next, but I decided to stick with Otakon again this year. Can’t wait to see what you guys have up your sleeves at Otakon, and I hope that you’ll be selling the FMA OVA collection at your booth too, since it would only be a couple of weeks outside release… one can hope right?

    Scary about the tornado! Happy everything was alright for you guys though :).

    Anyway, hope everyone going to AN has fun :D!

    We are all safe I’m happy to say. Had to drive around a few trees ripped into the street and a rouge trampoline though. But right now I’m stuck in the Dallas airport waiting for the storm to clear so I can get to Anime Next. Hoping for the best but if I look frantic first thing tomorrow it will be due to setting up late due to travel ‘fun’.

    …and don’t listen to Shivbot. She is wrong about about everything always. :P

    I have some stuff to get at the booth, But Darker Than Black 5/6, Heroic Age 2 , Baccano, One Piece, D. Gray-man i already have preordered. Sorry. But, I’m thinking of getting Shin-Chan, Fullmetal movie, Jyo-Oh-Sei, and maybe Samurai 7. What do you Think?
