I’m just hoping for ANYTHING Samurai Champloo related other than the boxed set, I fell in love with that series and if there’s even a grain of info regarding it I get my hopes up once again.

I don’t know if you guy can do this at such short notice, but I was wondering if you guys could consider webcasting the major FUNi events (Panels, Cast Reveals, Random acts of Cosplay, etc) at the cons. For those who can’t make it…..(this year!)

Either way, fans win. I didn’t think they’d really given details on the Frog release but however it plays out, it’ll be fun. Robert’s Anime Corner Store is already listing a DB season 1 uncut boxset (no details on episode count) for September too. (Check their blog for info.)

I’m hoping for new titles along with confirmations.

The announcement on twitter about something we already know, I believe that it is referring the the persistence of myself, Alex Greer, and Robert Alexander Laney sniffing out the Dragon ball uncut release. It was originally posted on wallmart.com but now it shows up for pre-order on the Z-Store as well. I know that FUNimation will not tell us if this is true yet, but the evidence is starting to pile up.

btw…. If funimation is re-releasing Dragon ball I hope that they do release the Uncut version without the cheesy american cover ups… like the flowers placed on little goku’s…….you know, as well as the others. I think most fans would like it as it was meant to be seen, unaltered (except dub).

or since they said we already know about it, it may not be…..but I can hope.

…..but I believe that Sgt. Frog was announced at Sakuracon in April, and is coming to DVD this September.

@ Kyoko: We’ll both have eye-strain and heavy brain strain by convention time trying to some how translate those bits of drawing around the edges into titles, won’t we? Hopefully whatever is announced will make us all happy.

Funi’s Twitter mentioned something about officially talking about something we already know about. (I figure full release info for Sgt. Frog maybe.)
