New streaming & DTO videos available
It’s been quite a busy month with all the massive conventions going on. I hope you guys have been enjoying our vlogs from each. More Otakon videos still coming as well as the stuff from San Diego Comic Con. Check them out here or on our YouTube playlist.
Amidst the madness, don’t forget about what we’re really about – more anime. We’ve got some new stuff available on both the streaming and Download-to-Own fronts.
First on DTO -
Playstation Network
Blue Gender – The Complete Series
Str.A.In: Strategic Armored Infantry – The Complete Series
Xbox Live
Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood HD – Episodes 1-14
Also congrats to Ikki Tousen for being our highest performing title on Xbox Live yet. The individual episodes have taken 9 spots out of the entire TV Top 20, including number 1 Most Popular TV Show.
w00t!
On the streaming side, we just got Nabari no Ou subtitled episodes 1-3 up on FUNimation.com/Video so now’s your chance to sample some ninja goodness. Trust me, it’s awesome.

I’m really not sure that’s something to be proud about. Frankly it’s depressing.
Points more towards the “quality” of the Xbox live downloading audience than the quality of your offerings.
If the only people using xbox’s download service are the teens who want T&A that their parents don’t realize they’re paying for, that doesn’t bode well for the viability of titles that are ACTUALLY GOOD on that platform.
hows ShoDojo going?
@Cathy
It’s going. Still making some tweaks and fine tuning. I don’t have an official launch date yet.
How I wish Funimation had the second and third seasons of Ikki-Tousen instead of Media Blasters.
If you ever have the chance down the road, re-license them and re-dub them! MB’s supposedly going to dub Dragon Destiny but not using New Generation Pictures and the original English cast. (No Carrie Savage as Hakafu makes Richard J. a sad otaku.
)
Tried to watch the first episode of Nabari no Ou but the Video Portal is just not working for me. (Thanks for letting me know someone’s looking into the problem Rojas! Just got your reply e-mail.)
Do you know when Nabari no Ou might be added to YouTube?
Eager to see what ShoDojo is like when it launches.
