Eden of the East is a big license for FUNi. It’s a new show… just finished in Japan. It’s by Production I.G… and I’m sure it was one of the most voted for on that “We need your input” poll.
Casshern is also sweet. Can’t wait to check it out.
Hoping that there wll be Bluray for these D: Please D: (as well as for Basara, more HD Production I.G :D)

I am absolutely stoked that both Eden of the East and Casshern Sins got licensed. Easily the best license announcements of the year for me so far. Please release both of them on Blu-ray.

I am happy about the Dragon Box DVDs. I kinda figured it would be announced since it was on Adam’s desk back in the Preview #3 post. (Did nobody really notice? Or did they just keep their mouth shut out of respect as well?)

As for the licenses, I’m only interested in Eden of the East. #3 (Kannagi) and #10 (Eden of the East) on my most wanted license list were announced this weekend, so I’m overall pretty pleased with the end result of Otakon, unless you have more up your sleeve.

I’m sorry for missing the live blog, because I thought that it said that it would open at 10 PM, rather than 10 AM. Oops!
At any rate, I’m glad to see Eden of the East and Casshern Sins being picked up.
Also, it’s great that you guys managed to get the Dragon Boxes! DBZ will finally get the treatment it so rightly deserves!:D It’s a good thing too, as I held off on buying the season sets and got the movies instead. 
@Tratious: I agree with you. Funi may have to negotiate those rights for the song(s). Capcom managed to negotiate the rights to Tatsunoko properties for Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom, so this sort of thing can be done.
@jlskun: They said that there would be a special treat for the bloggers tomorrow, so we’ll have to wait and see.

Wow, it surprises me what funimation will do for more money. They just finished releasing the dragonball season sets and now their releasing it again,but this time in full screen. I will definitely hold off on these because guess what, by the time these are finished. They will be able to release Dragonball Kai because that will be probably done in japan by then. I’ll be happy with what I got because I hate double dipping,and the only thing worse than that is triple dipping.

The Dragon Box is originally a Japanese collectors set that has now been released in the USA. It’s supposed to be the ultimate boxset for Dragonball collectors.
