It’s a nice night for a Gundam wedding
Over at Shibuya246, there’s some nice pictures from the first Odaiba Gundam Wedding. A couple was chosen out of 500 entrants to be wed at the feet of a life size replica of Gundam RX78. Let’s see Keroro try to build that sucker.
I think this totally trumps that wedding I saw at the Ren Faire not too long ago. Though we don’t have any monuments quite as awesome, I know there’s people out there who’ve gotten married at conventions and the like. Have you seen Triumph the Insult Comic Dog’s trip to a Star Wars convention? If so, you’ll know what I’m referencing. Anyone actually had an interesting wedding ceremonies or know anyone who has? If not, would you go as far as to incorporate your fandom this heavily into your personal life?

00 Raiser or Exia R2 would make an excellent statue and wedding Venue.
Especially 00 Raiser Gundam, they could make it emit like a misty kinda light (GN particle effect) or something.

maybe if there were big frogs (from Sgt.Frog) plus the gundan, that would be the wedding I would like to have

Hmm… I think Keroro will try his best to match this, seeing how much of a Gundam otaku he is. :-) Maybe if I go to japan one day, I should look for this. lol

Haha, that’s hardcore. Once legislation is passed that would allow me to marry, I might go for something like that. (You hear about Disney weddings, but Gundam weddings?)

Thats sweet. I’ve seen other pics of that Gundam but these are the best quality I’ve seen. Oh only if Gundams were real. I ‘d love to pilot it. :lol:

That Gundam wedding is so cool. As a “Mobile Suit Gundam” addict, I can’t help but be a bit jealous of this couple.
I’d just love to see that 1/1 scale Gundam in person. I’ve seen plenty of pictures and videos of it online, but I just would love to see it in person. And probably cling to its leg… kicking and screaming as security tried to pull me off. But it would be so worth it…
Seriously, though, the Gundam itself is an amazing feat, and I think it came out wonderfully. Having a wedding there? That would be a blast.
