Anime at the Palace – Syracuse, NY
Compliments of Anime Syracuse, our very own Sophie McNutt was flown out to Syracuse, NY to help kickoff the very first “Anime at the Palace” screening. They showed the first 3 episodes of Nabari no Ou and Sgt. Frog. The event is FREE to the public and will continue to take place the third Monday of each month at the Palace Theater.
Sophie took the blog-o-cam on her trip and got a bit of footage. The theater itself looks pretty darn snazzy, and I’m sure the anime looks great on that big screen.
Take a look at the pics and video of the event.

:( I wish there was one of these around me in New Jersey. These are great but again not close to where I live. I would go to these almost every week if there was one. The only anime that has played around here in a while Ponyo and before that was Pokemon.
ahhhh!! me Waaaaant!
I really wish I could be there. I NEED more chances to win stuff… There’s not much going on here in the middle of nowhere.
Like Supermutant said If only this was in my area of as well I would love to go to this.(Ohio) I know a few others who would love too as well.
If I lived in Syracuse, I would be spending my Mondays there.
Maybe anime trailers shown in movie theaters will be the next step? I know anime movies have their trailers shown at movie theaters but that’s a rare occasion. It’s just nice to see anime exposed outside of online ads.
Of course, this happens right after I graduate.
