VOD Fridays on FUNimation Channel (9/4)
Wow. September already. Where did summer go? You know its almost Christmas when the local Costco starts to put up Christmas deco items together with Halloween and Thanksgiving deco and items. Even at bulk warehouse clubs, holidays are mashable. But lets savor this month and enjoy the anime on TV.
The VOD updates are for viewers who have FUNimation Anime on Comcast. If you are not a Comcast cable customer and would really like to see this and the linear channel on your cable or satellite system, tell your local cable/satellite service to carry it. But be nice in your request.

Some of you may have already noticed the Anime Selects folder now appearing on the menu. Yes, it has returned and continuing to air those titles that haven’t expired. And I hear that Vampire Princess Miyu DVDs are really hard to find these days. So if you haven’t seen this series, go and try to catch those eps.
Later this month on the linear FUNimation Channel, Nana and Honey and Clover will start airing on Saturday, 9/19. Go to FUNimation Channel’s site and jump here for the schedule.

I don’t get Funimation. :( Sorry I see this every week and I am so jealous to those who do have it. I got a friend who has the linear but doesn’t even like Funimation as much as I do.

Here in Sacramento: The joke here is that there are only two seasons, Summer and Winter. There’s no such thing as “snow” in this valley (unless you can call hail “snow”). And we’re still in summer season mode.
A day that’s not “summer” would be a better day for me.

Well the low audio was finally fixed ,but the video is still really really crappy. I miss the Anime Network sure a lot of the times I owned what they put up (same could be said for most Anime released legally in North America though in my case) ,but at least the video did not make me nauseated with all the pixelation and motion blurring.

@ an4564: Bandai needs money just like everyone else and they’re already working with Manga Entertainment to get some of their series on SyFy channel. (Too bad they can’t get all of their series on there since apparently in the future TV deals will be the only thing that gets Bandai to dub anime.)

Still not getting any of the free VOD programming in Nashville, TN since July. I would be happy to see anything at this point. Have just called Comcast for the third time. Wish someone would fix the service!!!!

That’s all Japan sent us so far. They only produced 16 eps.
If the demand is great, they might consider producing more. Go to the Give Us Your Input blog post and make that suggestion there.

Hi ndv1 – I just posted an update on the latest blog post for 9/11. Basically, they are getting all the missed content and backfilling onto a hard drive. The process took longer than anyone thought. So they are trying to get all this backfilled content up very soon.
