Anime at the Alamo – Soul Eater
If you’re in the Houston, TX area, I’m giving you a mission tonight. You must go to The Alamo Drafthouse and watch the English dub of Soul Eater! This is not a choice – it is mandatory. The showing starts at 7:30pm and seating begins 45 minutes ahead of time, so you’d better get moving now! It’s FREE so you don’t have an excuse not to go.

I too would love to see the dub of Soul Eater. However I could not have gotten there because I am not in Texas. Please Funimation for the fans who can not go to special screenings and conventions put the Soul Eater dub online. It would be great to have it this week.

@SMcCall64 – We just provide the anime screeners. It is ultimately up to the theater to have the showings, so you’ll have to ask them. We’d love to have the Austin location added.

I’ve reached a calmer place mentally when it comes to sub-only releases. I now see them as future Funimation license rescues after their companies go belly up.
I can wait a few years or longer for what I want.
Though I’d like to wait much less for Soul Eater. This is yet another reason why I should move to Texas.
