Blassreiter Review
The first 12 episode set of Blassreiter came out this past Tuesday, and any anime fan will tell you 3 days is more than enough to blow through that many episodes. That being said, there’s probably a few of you who have already polished off the first set of Blassreiter, so I figured it’d be a good time to get some opinions. Let’s start off with some other online folks’ take on the anime:
Lunch.com describes the show as “Slick Visuals & Lots of Bloody Action.” I think this excerpt from their review conveys a good feel for Blassreiter
The show is an interesting blend of ideas and plays out perhaps closest to the hopelessness of Blue Gender coupled to the element of self-control made famous in Claymore. There is a constant threat of the lead character’s lapse in perseverance resulting in his irreversible tumble into madness- in this case a fate worse than death.
FanboyReview.net gives Blassreiter a B+ calling it a show worth seeing in a good package.
Blassreiter episode by episode threads the line between action, drama, and violence. It’s definitely not for everyone, but I think if you give it a fair chance through these twelve episodes, you will find yourself salivating for more.
ComicsOnline.com talks about the mix of horror, action, and cyber zombies.
I recommend Blassreiter to anyone who wants a smart, action horror series with brains to match its adrenaline; that knows when to slow down as well as speed up, and quite frankly, is filled with so many quotable lines I had to show off a couple.“Is that justice for the wicked? All I see is a man suffering the depths of pain.”
So what are your thoughts on the series? Please use the [SPOILER] tag for any overly informative comments.

I enjoyed Blassreiter until it got down to the last two episodes … I just pretend like the ending doesn’t exist.
Lolololol Mokona, your comment totally made my day
Its a great series although a little slow in the beginning. Both Openings are really good too.
I reviewed Blassriter on my blog earlier this week:

I thought it was a bad series, but it was a charming kind of bad, like a B-rate Hollywood monster flick. So I gave it a thumbs up. ( ^_^)b It’s worth checking out.
Woo, my first ever quote!
Keep watching past the first 3 or 4 episodes, I could imagine if you are watching it one by one slowly, you might drop it. Trust me… keep watching.
I saw the show the other weeks, well the whole thing, I have to say it was good, really good, I likes it alot and it would be nice if you could made some more of these, like this time the story will be about malek and amanda team up with someone to do something and whatever, who know, you guys are in charge of the idea, and forget about Fanboyreview.net, fu ck them, I’ll give this show an average “A”, it so good, and haha, I can’t stop thinking about it, already been 2 weeks, everytime I think about it, is feel like pain coming through my body or something, this show is just too good you know, you should made more
