The first 2 English subtitled episodes of Sands of Destruction are now available for DTO at FUNimation.com.

Take advantage of this first opportunity to preview the show.  If you’re not familiar with the show, here’s a little background on Sands, also known as World Destruction in Japan.  The anime is based on the Nintendo DS RPG published by SEGA also titled Sands of Destruction.

In a world where humans serve as livestock for the ruling beastman, and where sand fills the roles of water and fire.  Kyrie is recruited by the “World Destruction Committee” to assist in putting an end to their world. Kyrie alone holds the power needed to do it.
Both the game and anime are slotted for early 2010 releases.
