[...] this list, Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu. You can find official descriptions of each show over at the official FUNimation blog, but I’d like to make sure you guys have seen Fumoffu, which is my favorite anime comedy of [...]
I think if Funimation could license Shana or anything Geneon related they probably would of done so already, something more is probably going on in that subject, perhaps they are leaving for Geneon incase they want to renew the partnership they had?
Cool, now i can buy trh FMP complete series! Im getting the second raid on blu ray soon. and then ill get the other two!
I am LAWLING at Sekirei. That show is so effing ecchi, it’s not even funny. XDDDDDDDDDD
-.-
Are you…Are you shitting me?
Full Metal Panic and Full Metal Panic: Fumoffu can already be found dubbed so easily.
WHERE IS MY DAMNED KUROSHITSUJI AND HETALIA?! -heartbreak- v.v
Well, I’m glad Funimation licensed more series however it still would be nice if there were some more Geneon licenses. Though one license I’m surprised about is Full Metal Panic. As for the others I can’t say one way or another since I haven’t seen either. But I hope they will be something I like, though if not Funimation has several other titles that I am interested in.
Note: I saw that Sekirei was an ecchi so I have no interest in watching that series..but the other one I hope will be good. Keep licensing and keep dubbing your shows.
[...] weekend at an AnimeUSA panel, FUNimation announced the acquisition of some new titles. The titles are Tetsuwan Birdy Decode, Sekirei, Full Metal [...]
@Chrisc-kun 26 episodes for Birdy means, the 12 of season 1, the 13 of season 2 and the Cipher OVA which links season 1 and 2…. so there’s is the answer to that! I just want Funi to pay more attention to picking voice actors, they have so many yet use the same ones over and over pretty much. Let some of the lesser knowns get in on major roles… Like Big Windup, Mihashi and Abe were big disappointments , I was hoping for VAs that sounded more like the original Japanese but was no where close. *end rant*

I’ve late to responding, but I have to say I’m very much going to buy Birdy. I watched the OVA way back when it was released in the late 90’s(or early 2000’s, can’t remember) and really enjoyed it. I was disappointed when I found out that was it.
So when I heard about the new TV series I was really happy and hoped someone would bring it over here.
I’m wondering if Funi would be willing to try and acquire the OVA episodes and include them as Extras on the disc. That would be a really nice extra to include, since I don’t think they’re available any more.
I hope Funimation is able to and wants to release Monochrome Factor here in the US. I really got into that anime and I like funimation. I am excited about them getting Full Metal Panic! and Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu even though I already own them. It would be nice to have them on Blu-Ray like TSR.
is school rumble season 3 ever coming out? It’s the only anime I’m really into at the moment, its driving me nuts not knowing. please someone help
also, I don’t see the reason in keeping the anime if its not complete, fruits basket was the same way, if the anime isn’t going to conclude, I’ll just stick to buying manga, its cheaper anyway.

I’m greatly looking forward to seeing Tetsuwan Birdy Decode. I have the original OVA and was really hoping to see more. I’m definitely looking forward to getting the new series!
