I'm greatly looking forward to seeing Tetsuwan Birdy Decode. I have the original OVA and was really hoping to see more. I'm definitely looking forward to getting the new series!

also, I don't see the reason in keeping the anime if its not complete, fruits basket was the same way, if the anime isn't going to conclude, I'll just stick to buying manga, its cheaper anyway.

I hope Funimation is able to and wants to release Monochrome Factor here in the US. I really got into that anime and I like funimation. I am excited about them getting Full Metal Panic! and Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu even though I already own them. It would be nice to have them on Blu-Ray like TSR.

I've late to responding, but I have to say I'm very much going to buy Birdy. I watched the OVA way back when it was released in the late 90's(or early 2000's, can't remember) and really enjoyed it. I was disappointed when I found out that was it.
So when I heard about the new TV series I was really happy and hoped someone would bring it over here.
I'm wondering if Funi would be willing to try and acquire the OVA episodes and include them as Extras on the disc. That would be a really nice extra to include, since I don't think they're available any more.

@Chrisc-kun 26 episodes for Birdy means, the 12 of season 1, the 13 of season 2 and the Cipher OVA which links season 1 and 2.... so there's is the answer to that! I just want Funi to pay more attention to picking voice actors, they have so many yet use the same ones over and over pretty much. Let some of the lesser knowns get in on major roles... Like Big Windup, Mihashi and Abe were big disappointments , I was hoping for VAs that sounded more like the original Japanese but was no where close. *end rant*
