Any of you guys big Metalocalypse fans?  I know there’s a few of us in the office who definitely appreciate the show.  Now I may not be the biggest metalhead, but I’ll go for some Nathan Explosion and Murderface rocking my face off.   Lucky for us, our friends over at [adult swim] sent us an invite to catch Dethklok, the most brutal animated band ever, on their tour stop at the House of Blues Dallas.

Needless to say, we had an awesome time hanging out in the posh VIP lounge and watching the band from the balcony.  I have to say Brendan Small is pretty kickass all around.  Mastadon also opened for Dethklok, so for the diehard metal fans, that was an additional treat.  We took a few pics with some of the [adult swim] team and got a bit of video from the concert in action.  Props to [adult swim] for rocking the house, and thanks for a great evening.  Only one thing was missing – Dr. Rockzo.

It looks like Dethklok will  be in California this weekend, so if you’re in the area, you definitely should get your metal on.

I’m much more of a Dragonforce fan myself; near-always using in my UTubes the beginning before-singing guitar riffs or the “guitar solo duel” from the “attempt at” “Through The Fire & The Flames.”
 
Then again; playing musical instruments VERY FAST will never be a bad thing as long as rap “music” exists. (Dang! I caught the “spelling error” flu!)
