Thxs Funi but, why don’t you put D.Gray-Man in there, atleast 4 episodes, its a show that deserves to be more in the spot light(Just bought Season 1 part 1 on Blu Ray and i’m half way through it) I kinda bought it not expecting anything…well…that good (Bought to see for myself if its good or not) but, i gatta say its an awesome anime!And You should let anime fans try it out and in the end result will probably buy it and you will get more of a profit.

Hmm… I don’t see the 2nd season of School Rumble on Hulu, and the El Cazador page says the episodes are subbed. Also is there any word of more Big Windup episodes being put up there?

WTF, Funimation? I pay my hard earned $$ for the ICHI movie, and you turn around and give it away FREE?!! That’s the last time I will pay for a live action Funi release. Good job, you lost a good customer willing to pay for most of your LA releases.

Funi has lots of anime for free, but I stil buy alot of dvds from them. It’s also a way for people to check out if they like something(in a legal way) before they buy it. I was actually hesitant to buy Ichi, but since I watched it on the video portal, I’ve added it to my “buy” list. You shouldn’t shun them for giving it away for free (can’t believe someone would actually do that lol).

I can see Funi streaming a couple of free anime episodes or spacing an entire series out for an extending period, but giving away an entire movie? Sorry, but fool me once….

Fool you once. What was there to fool. I’ll grant the spacing over time for vids. Since some are put up faster than others. Newer once especilly verses older ones. But seriously, you have no appreciation for their work do you. If you like the show regardless if is on streaming or not would you buy it anyway? I’ve seem multiple shows on the vid portal, fans subs and what not and they all play a part to the “must buy”list jmfsilenthill refers too. Besides IF FANS DON’T BUY we get NO NEW release/licences.

Why should anyone buy if it’s all online for free? I appreciate their work, why else would I buy Ichi & have 14 Amazons on preorder? How about FUNi appreciate those who purchase their products by not streaming them in total for nothing? I have no problem streaming trailers or say, the 1st 20 min (typical anime ep length)and ask customers to buy the video. I realize this might be a generational thing with the free streams, however it won’t be the typical anime fan buying the live action movies.

Besides if you haven’t noticed the streams haven’t always been working, or you have to let the streams buffer for a bit. Why bother with all that when you can buy the dvds. And if funi didn’t appreciate the fans they would licen any more shows. Are you missing the point of if FANS DON’T BUY we get NO NEW SHOWS. It does require money to get this stuff you know.

Don’t you realize that the anime you buy from Funimation is available in numerous places on the internet for free (and in their complete form, not just a few eps). You can even find the dubs for free if you want to. Why would anyone buy any anime if every anime is available online for free? Because people want to support the R1 industry (well some people anyway), and many people like having a physical copy of the disc.
I can see this is going nowhere so….I QUIT.
