This week is light on releases. We needed to give your wallets a break since next month they’ll probably take a beating.
Maybe you’re like me and are super stoked for FFXIII to finally come out. I’m actually about 62 hours into FFXII at the moment in preparation for 13, not that it’s necessary to play them sequentially. Sure, I could have beat the game a while back but I’ve gotta do all the side quests, hunts, etc.
I bet there’s a few of you out there that are also Final Fantasy completists. If I’m talking about you, then definitely pick up this week’s release Tower of Druaga – the Sword of URUK. Not only does it have the same music composer as FFXII, but the anime itself is very RPG-esque. The story takes Jil and his party through a merciless dungeon while fighting slimes, dragons and tentacled beasts along the way. For Jil and crew, surviving the climb is no game.
