UPDATE: Since we got a larger theater, RSVP for the April 13th screening of The Slayers REVOLUTION has been extended to April 12th.

Also, don’t forget about The Alamo screenings and The Lair Theater‘s first “Animayhem” this Sunday.

I’ve got a whole lotta FUNimation at the Movies news to tell you.  Unfortunately for non-Texas, this doesn’t apply unless you want to do serious driving.  Though, I challenge you to get your local theater to become part of the FUNimation at the Movies program.

The theaters that are currently participating have all taken the initiative to organize their own anime nights.  You get the theater.  We’ll supply the anime.  For those of you in the Lone Star State, find one of the participating theaters below.  For some of you in the Northeast, don’t forget about Anime at the Palace in Syracuse, NY.

Anime at the Alamo

Joining the Anime at the Alamo program as part of FUNimation AT The Movies will be The Alamo Drafthouse, Lake Creek in Austin, TX. Screenings will be every Tuesday starting April 6, 2010.

Animayhem

Opening its doors today will be The Lair Theater in north Austin, TX a.k.a. Round Rock. Their anime night will be called “Animayhem” and will occur every second Sunday of the month starting April 11.
