    @Matt

    That’s…..not….my…issue(and the fact that you would even think so jokingly or not is somewhat offensive to say the least) My issue is the show is ulgy. At least to me. I don’t like the whole roided out muscle man look ala Fist of the North Star or similar stuff. For me that look is a wall that I will never get past. It’s just really ugly. Some don’t mind it some like it some even love it. I on the other hand hate it and find it very ugly.

    I normally don’t let the character designs stop me from watching a show but there are times that I just can’t get over how ugly a show is cause of the characters. Monster is a good example. So many people say it’s one of the best anime ever and I could not stand the show and one of the bigger reasons was the ugly character designs I got to about 25 before i dropped the series and I didn’t like the story at all so that coupled with the length and the ugly design made me drop it.

    I have no issue with stuff like Kenichi. That show doesn’t look all ugly and roided out. There are big strong men in it but not of the roided out level of something like Toriko or Fist of the North Star or it’s ilk.
