About Us
So why a FUNimation Blog?
With the trend of the anime industry becoming a faster-paced and more demanding environment, we needed a way to expedite news and information directly to the fans. Also, there’s a ton of extra content we’re dying to show you – exclusive merchandise, early box art, sneak-peak videos, etc.
Everyone working on the blog is an actual employee of FUNimation Entertainment and has various duties – you may even recognize a couple of us.
Introducing your local contributors…
Justin Rojas – Your captain for this cruise.
Lance Heiskell – Your Friendly Neighborhood FUNimation Guy.
Adam Sheehan – Convention and Events Manager – yeah, the job in which you get paid to go to anime cons.
Charlene Ingram – Brand Manager. Cosplayer. Has high affinity for sparkly things and the color orange.
We will also have guest contributors pop in every now and then… you never know who might show up.
More details to come…

No probelem Caitly. And as a last bit of info…. Funi has toled us in the past that since they only licence the shows they are not privy to info of potential upcoming seasons. It’s pretty much up the fans to find out on their own till concreat news from th ecreators is unvailed. Hears Hoping.
funimation should do a joint with spike tv and g4techtv to get some of the shows out there into the main stream tv even ytv canada or teletoon.
any of those stations would be a good place for anime…especially on g4 since like 60% of the shows on there are either re-runs or total junk. they use to have a joint with geneon for anime…but geneon died (atleast in NA)
what would be best would be dubbed episodes during the day…then uncensored subbed (only) episodes at night 10pm+
if the admins are reading this suggest this to your marketing department or whoever would be appropriate
How do I apply for a job at Funimation?
Why did you guys take all your videos off anivide.com? There was no reason to do that FUNIMATION.
I think I can answer that one, anivide is not a legal streaming site for anime, you will find a lot of fansubs there, now crunchyroll is a legal anime site, I even have a paid subscription for them,
there are really not many legal anime streaming sites that I know of, I only know that illegal sites pop up all the time, as one shuts down another pops up, fansub groups are the same,
but what do I know, I am just happy to be able to get toradora in america
Does FUNimation actually create anime or does it just distribute it?
I have a question/request. I have recently become obsessed with Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle, and I love it so much!! There are OVAs that follow the manga, except there’s one problem; they’re just in Japanese. Is Funimation ever going to dub them? Because I grew very attached to the voices of the characters, and I only want to watch it if I get to hear Vic Mignogna as Fai and Christopher Sabat as Kurogane. Anyway, if the OVAs were dubbed, I’d love it very much!!
