@Richard:
Hey, it’s fine to have some nostalgia love for a little kid’s book, but that doesn’t change my point. The fact remains that Funimation changed (not translated) the title of Seto no Hanayome to follow the flaky formula of “My X is a Y” that is only used on children’s books or C Movies.
I mean could you imagine the outcry from fans if the Twilight movie had been renamed, “My Boyfriend is a Vampire?” That crap would have never flied. Yet somehow Funimation is trying to get away with this very thing.
Yo FUNi, it seems that none of the Worst Buy stores are selling the recent Nanoha box sets that were released last week (i checked the website to see which of my nearest stores has it and it says “Store Pickup: Not Available”).
Tomorrow i’ll be checking out a few of my nearest Best Buy & FYE stores. If i don’t find it in any of them then i’ll just stick to my inconsistant first releases of both seasons (sorry but too many recent post office issues have caused me to order very few things online and since this is a re-release of a show i already own it’s not worth the post office BS).
Hmm, Amazon is listing Case Closed: Countdown to Heaven for January 19, 2010. Can you say best intersession ever!? Three movies in three weeks! You guys rock! Even more so for going with my strange little request. I call The Phantom of Baker Street for February! [shot]
Okay, apparently, I’ve been behind the times, as someone has told me that it has been announced for February. Still, doesn’t make me less excited.
Ok so i got back from Worst Buy & FYE and neither of them have the Nanoha re-release so yeah no cash for you.
