Flower Mound, Texas (November 29, 2011) – FUNimation® Entertainment today announced it has acquired the U.S. home video rights to GIRL$.
Girl$ follows four different young women and their experiences in the world of “compensated dating”, where girls are paid to date and not necessarily have sex. Of course, sex is an inevitable byproduct of the business, and the girls are subject to the same dangers: diseases, perverted clients, and even a depraved killer who’s out there killing and dismembering working girls. Nonetheless, the girls forge on because they need to pay the bills and make a living.
Director Kenneth Bi delivers a stylish, energetic and entertaining film.
FUNimation Entertainment will release the DVD in fall 2012.
