Beware the Ides of March!

March 15th (or the Ides of March in Latin) gets its infamous meaning thanks to William Shakespeare’s play, Julius Caesar. Where a soothsayer tells Caesar, “Beware the Ides of March”. The message was a warning of his death. Which of course came true when Caesar was assassinated by a group of conspirators, including people he trusted.

Ever since then the Ides of March has stood for a warning of doom or even better – REVENGE!

To celebrate such an auspicious day we decided to share just a few of our favorite examples of revenge in anime. We would love to hear what are some of your favorite anime revenge episodes as well.
