Anime Weekend Atlanta is this weekend, and we’ve got not one but TWO awesome English dub premieres – One Piece Film: Strong World and Jormungand!
One Piece Film: Strong World will screen on Friday in the Main Events Ballroom at 6pm. Jormungand’s screening will be on Saturday in the Chambers/ Main Video Room at 12pm.

One Piece Film: Strong World synopsis:
There’s gonna be a rumble in the jungle in the original One Piece movie written by the creator himself, Eiichiro Oda!
When the Straw Hats catch wind of trouble in the peaceful waters of the East Blue, they quickly set a course for home! But before they reach their destination, fate leads them into the deadly path of Golden Lion Shiki. This gravity-defying madman needs a navigator, and he wants Nami! Shiki scatters the Straw Hats across the far corners of a floating island filled with ferocious, genetically-mutated monsters, and issues Nami and ultimatum: join his crew – or her friends die! BIG mistake. Luffy kicks his attack mode into Third Gear and begins a brutal rampage across the beast-ridden island. It’s all hands on deck – including a new character – for this watershed adventure in the One Piece canon. Monkey vs. Lion. Winner gets the navigator!

Ian Sinclair, recently announced as the English voice of Brook in One Piece, will be a guest at Anime Weekend Atlanta. So, make sure you have him do the Brook laugh for you!
Jormungand synopsis:
Jonah is a child soldier and the newest bodyguard for Koko, an international arms dealer with an entourage of hired guns. The cold-blooded kid hates Koko’s line of work, but following her into the darkest corners of the black market might be the only way he can find those responsible for his family’s slaughter. Besides, his employer isn’t like most merchants of death. She uses guile and cutthroat tactics to keep her clients armed to the teeth-all while cultivating her own warped plan for the future of world peace. With the CIA desperate for her capture, assassins eager to collect her head, and the potential for every contract to end in ultra-violence, Koko and her comrades in arms bring the boom to every corner of the world.
