This trippy, sci-fi thriller comes from Steins;Gate director, Takuya Sato, so you know we’re in for a wild ride. To prep ourselves for whatever crazy story-telling Sato-san has up his sleeve this Spring, we’re sharing our five favorite moments from his hit series, Steins;Gate. [WARNING: Minor spoilers ahead]
5) Chicken Tenders in the Name of Science – Tuturuu’s aside, this if one of Mayuri’s more adorable moments!
4) Fortune Favors the Bold – The Future Gadget Lab’s first success at time travel will always be a favorite of ours.
3) We’re In This Together – One of the more touching moment in the series. Kurisu goes to console a defeated Okabe, who can’t help but feel powerless at the hands of fate.
2) But He’s a Dude – One of the funnier moments of the series, Okabe reflects on Ruka’s many choice qualities of a beautiful girl. But he’s a guy.
1) I Don’t Speak Jive (AKA I Am Mad Scientist) – What Steins;Gate list would be complete without the classic, and quotable, take on the Japanese scene: “I am mad scientist. It’s so cool. Sonuvabitch.”
