Any seiyuu (Japanese voice actor) fans out there? We’ve worked with our Japanese licensing partners to give you a rare chance to ask the Japanese voice cast for “In Search of the Lost Future” (Ushinawareta Mirai wo Motomete) some questions. If you haven’t heard of this series before it’s our new sci-fi/mystery/romance fall simulcast based on the successful bishoujo game visual novel!
In Search of the Lost Future is based on a school-life romance visual novel, but don’t be fooled by its ordinary setting–this isn’t just a “sad girls in snow” slice of life drama. From the cryptic sci-fi imagery at the start of Episode 1 to the shocking turn at the end, this anime has some hints of a surprise twist with a supernatural bent. Sou Akiyama and the girls of the Astronomy Club solve problems around the school, but when a mysterious (naked) girl appears and joins their ranks, their fates begin to change…
What’s it like voicing these characters? What do the actors think of the plot twists? Send us your questions for the cast by Monday, October 27th, and we’ll choose some to send to Japan to get answered! You can post them in the comments below, on our Facebook thread, or on Twitter with the hastag #LostFutureQuestions. For reference, the cast is below; please keep the questions related to “In Search of the Lost Future” or voice acting in general.
