Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘F’ Races Into All-Time Anime Top Ten List As Box Office Surges To $5.97 Million

Takes #9 Position on List of Highest Grossing Anime Films In Record Time

FLOWER MOUND, Texas, Aug. 10, 2015  — FUNimation® Entertainment announced its limited event-style theatrical release of the anime film “Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘F'” has surged to  $5.97M in box office gross since opening last Tuesday. For the 3 day weekend total, the film brought in $1.81 Million, bringing its total North American gross to a staggering $5.97 Million. With Saturday’s result, “Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘F'” became the first independent film to make the Top 10 list of highest grossing anime films domestically.
