Anime Expo, the biggest anime convention in North America, is just around the corner and boy, do we have a big lineup in the works. Mark your calendars, because it’s all hands on deck with the Funimation crew bringing you around-the-clock entertainment at AX 2017!

FRIDAY

Join staff from Funimation as we talk about all of the things that we have planned for Anime Expo 2017, including special events, guests and more!

7:30p – 8:30p | Full Metal Panic! Anniversary Panel |LP3/LACC 408AB
Celebrating the 15th anniversary of the Full Metal Panic anime! Series creator Shouji Gatou and light novel illustrator Shikidouji will be presenting their perspectives on this beloved action (rom-com?) series, as well as looking forward to the long-awaited fourth anime series, Full Metal Panic! Invisible Victory! (Please note that we do not have any announcements about acquisition of the new series at this time.) All attendees will receive a free Invisible Victory poster!

SATURDAY

2:30p – 3:30p | Funimation Presents: Attack on Titan Season 2 Panel | LP2/JW Marriott Platinum Ballroom
Ever wonder about the differences between English voice acting and Japanese voice acting for the same character in one of your favorite shows? Meet the Japanese and English voice actors for the badass Mikasa Ackermann in Attack on Titan—Yui Ishikawa (Seraph of the End: Vampire Reign, Aikatsu!) and Trina Nishimura (My Hero Academia, Yuri!!! On ICE, Seraph of the End: Vampire Reign). Join us as we learn all about their experiences working on Attack on Titan Season 2. There will also be a Q&A session plus giveaway prizes!

Guaranteed to be a good time that’s oh so NSFW. Watch clips and trailers from some of the hottest Funimation titles with host Cookie Stratford. Audience participation encouraged by tweeting using the hashtag #FunimationPeepShow. You could even win some naughty prizes. (18+, Bring your IDs!)

Meet Miyu Irino, the Japanese voice actor behind such roles as Akito Hyuga from Code Geass: Akito the Exiled, Haku from Spirited Away, Sora from Kingdom Hearts, Suga from Haikyu!, and more!

1:30p – 2:30p | Funimation Presents: My Hero Academia Panel | LP1/LACC Petree Hall
My Hero Academia Panel The hero obsession is back in session with more action, heroes and quirks. Meet the Chief Animation Director Yoshihiko Umakoshi and English voice actor Christopher R. Sabat, the voice of All Might (also the voice of Vegeta). Join us we discuss season two, see live character drawings, watch new clips, Q&A session, giveaway prizes and more.

4:00p – 6:00p | Code Geass: Akito the Exiled Screening & Voice Actor Panel | Video 1/JW Marriott
The world of Code Geass returns! Watch the first of 5 hour-long OVAs from the new series Code Geass: Akito the Exiled (out 6/27 on Blu-ray!), followed by Q&A by the Japanese and English voices of Akito! OVA is presented dubbed, with clips from the Japanese version with English subtitles. Code Geass: Akito the Exiled mini posters will be provided to all attendees!

7:30p – 9:00p | Dragon Ball Super Panel: Presented by Funimation & Toei Animation Inc | LP1/LACC Petree Hall
They’re back! Get to know Dragon Ball Super English voice actors Sean Schemmel (Goku, King Kai), Christopher R. Sabat (Vegeta, Piccolo, Shenron), Jason Douglas (the man behind Beerus), and special guest Japanese voice actor Ryō Horikawa (the man behind Vegeta) during a special panel and Q&A session. This year, the epic franchise continues with even more power, new characters, continuing broadcast on Adult Swim and an all new part one home video release on July 25th!

7:30p – 10:00p | Tokyo Ghoul Live Action Movie World Premiere (18+) | Video 2/ JW Marriott Diamond Ballroom
See the WORLD PREMIERE of the live-action movie based on the hit horror action anime/manga! (Yes, that’s BEFORE anyone gets to see it in Japan!) With strong manga-inspired visuals and a faithful depiction of the original characters, this is a live-action adaptation that true fans of Tokyo Ghoul won’t want to miss. Followed by Q&A with director Kentaro Hagiwara and actor for Kaneki, Masataka Kubota! Presented in Japanese with English subtitles. Tokyo Ghoul posters and special Kaneki ghoul mask papercrafts (straight from Japan!) will be provided to all attendees!

TUESDAY

11:30a – 12:30p | One Piece Panel | LP4/LACC 411
Come aboard and bring along all your hopes and dreams for this one of a kind One Piece panel. Meet English voice actor Christopher R. Sabat, the voice of Zoro (also the voice of Vegeta) and English voice actor Keith Silverstein, the voice of Tesoro. Join us as we discuss the new movie One Piece Film: Gold, the series, watch clips, Q&A session, giveaway prizes and more.

NOTE: Each autograph session will be ticketed. Tickets will be distributed every morning at the main Funimation booth at 10:00am, on a first-come, first-served basis. Autographs will be limited to 1 item per person, or one of the posters provided by Funimation staff.
