Here’s what we’ve got planned for Fruits Basket and Code Geass at Anime Boston and Sakura-Con!

Anime convention season is officially under way, and this weekend, we’ll be on both coasts with some sweet activities and premieres (including FREE premiere screenings of the new Code Geass movie, in advance of the theatrical run!), so if you’re headed to Sakura-Con or Anime Boston, check out what’s in store!

At both cons, come by our special Fruits Basket booth adjacent to our Funimation booth—we’ll be giving away free Fruits Basket posters, raffling Fruits Basket manga and a special sparkly pouch (previously exclusive to Japanese event fans!), and we’ll have a special message board where you can leave a card for manga artist Natsuki Takaya-sensei! We’ll be sending all the cards after the convention, so look out for it. You can also take pictures with Fruits Basket character standees!

Watch your favorite Code Geass characters and mecha come to life, as drawn by the two main animators for the new Code Geass movie, Lelouch of the Re;surrection! Yuriko Chiba (character animator) and Eiji Nakada (mecha animator) present a live-drawing session specially for Sakura-Con.
