Get ready for North America’s biggest Steins;Gate festival ever, coming to Anime Expo! We’re proud to announce today a special event plus concert—with guests!—to celebrate Steins;Gate 0, the essential follow-up series to the seminal sci-fi anime Steins;Gate, coming to Blu-ray.
Funimation will be presenting a night full of Steins;Gate 0 activities, including a live concert by special guest Japanese artist Kanako Ito, who sang many of the major songs for not only the Steins;Gate game and anime, as well as the other installments of the Science Adventure series. Her haunting melodies have long been a staple in this series, setting the tone for the dark and futuristic franchise.
Japanese marketing publicist for the Steins;Gate franchise Rintaro Murata will also give a special presentation on the promotion and success of the series in Japan, along with highlights from the new Steins;Gate 0 installment. Both guests will be available for a Q&A section.
The event will also feature a special Steins;Gate fan karaoke contest judged by Kanako Ito! This is an incredibly rare opportunity to show your musical talents in the presence of the original artist herself, and the winner will receive a huge pack of Steins;Gate prizes. Karaoke versions of Kanako Ito’s songs from the Steins;Gate series, with romaji lyrics, will be provided.

The event’s lounge area will include a cash bar with Steins;Gate 0 themed drinks, photo ops, and more.
The event will take place at Anime Expo’s Lounge 21 space within the Los Angeles Convention Center. An Anime Expo badge is required to attend. Fans who purchase priority entrance tickets will receive a free pack of Steins;Gate 0 event-EXCLUSIVE goods, including a poster with commissioned artwork created specifically for this event and inspired by the concert theme!
Priority entry to the event is $30, but fans who purchase a Steins;Gate 0 Blu-ray release get in for just $8 on top of their Blu-ray purchase, AND get an additional special autograph session with Kanako Ito herself (by purchasing a special Steins;Gate 0 Part 1 Limited Edition + Part 2 + ticket bundle). Following the concert portion and Q&A, the rest of the party is free for attendees with an AX badge.
