Attention, Code Geass fans attending Anime NYC this year! Funimation is teaming up with Sunrise for a number of incredible events that you just won’t want to miss.
To celebrate the home video release of Code Geass Lelouch of the Re;surrection (coming to home video February 2020), Funimation is bringing some special guests, panels and autograph sessions to the show!

Friday, November 15

Featuring scriptwriter Ichiro Okouchi, character designer Takahiro Kimura, and the Japanese voice of C.C., Yukana!
AnimeNYC attendees can get exclusive access to the Code Geass guest autograph sessions by pre-ordering the new movie Lelouch of the Re;surrection at the Funimation booth.
The movie pre-order (if paid in full) will be fulfilled by FYE and can be picked up at a store after its release in February 2020.
Code Geass: Behind the Scenes + Live-Drawing with Japanese Creators | 4:30 PM | 1E15
Go behind the scenes of one of the most epic action-sci-fi anime ever–Code Geass scriptwriter Ichiro Okouchi and character designer/chief animation director Takahiro Kimura discuss their craft and the creative development of this series. Listen to them discuss not only the original anime television series, but the new film Code Geass: Lelouch of the Re;surrection–and you may hear some tidbits about the future of the Code Geass universe!
Kimura-san will also conduct a live-drawing session–see a real Code Geass animator draw in the flesh!

Japanese voice actress Yukana (C.C. in Code Geass, Tessa Testarossa in Full Metal Panic!, Meiling in Cardcaptor Sakura) discusses her career in the voice acting industry as well as recent and past roles. Hear some insights about her character C.C.’s vital role and narrative growth in the new Code Geass: Lelouch of the Re;surrection movie, as well as what it’s like to return to the role after 10 years!
