The Earth’s strongest fighter — Goku — is returning to New York to fly high once again at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

Presented by Toei Animation and Funimation, Super Saiyan Blue Goku will soar along the parade route on Thanksgiving morning, marking the second year in a row the anime icon has been a part of the parade’s lineup.

Goku made his debut as a parade balloon in 2018, just ahead of the theatrical release of Dragon Ball Super: Broly, a film set after the Tournament of Power in Dragon Ball Super. Fans went wild on the brisk winter morning in support of the intergalactic hero and his 56-foot-high parade float.

Even the balloon volunteers joined in on the fun!

He was accompanied by the sounds of “Cha-La Head-Cha-La” and echoes of excitement on social media as fans said #ThanksGoku! He even made the cover of The New York Times.

Don’t forget to join in on the fun again this year and share your memories with Goku on social media!
