Paranoia Agent, the mind-bending supernatural mystery from Satoshi Kon and Madhouse, will be streaming for the first time, available exclusively on Funimation!
Funimation announced Monday morning that it has acquired the exclusive streaming and home video rights to the series, which has never before been available for streaming. The series will be available subbed and dubbed on Funimation starting February 4.
In addition, Funimation plans to release the 13-episode series in its entirety on home video later this year. This includes a Blu-ray release — a first for English-speaking audiences — and a timed retailer-exclusive steelbook version. More details to come.
Synopsis:
From Satoshi Kon, the legendary director of Perfect Blue, Millennium Actress, and Paprika comes a dark and mysterious, thought-provoking psychological thriller. Originally released in 2004, Paranoia Agent garnered critical acclaim and became a favorite for supernatural anime fans around the world. The series took home multiple awards at the Fantasia International Film Festival in 2004.
