Aniplex has announced that a smartphone game based on Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba will be released later this year, with a PlayStation 4 game following in 2021! The two games are not connected to each other, but promise to be enjoyable for fans of the bone-crunching action series.
Per Anime News Network, the smartphone game–whose title translates to Demon Slayer: Blood-Stench Battle Royale–will be available on iOS and Android. Aniplex describes the game as an “asymmetrical survival action game” pitting demon slayers against demons in settings from the series, with players putting together teams of slayers.

The PS4 game–which, again per ANN–is titled Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba: Hinokami Keppūtan and was announced in this week’s issue of Weekly Shonen Jump (where Demon Slayer has appeared since February 2016). Though no screenshots or developer information were revealed, the magazine ad said players will take control of the heroic, dedicated demon slayer, Tanjiro Kamado.
An official website for both games was launched Monday, which says that Blood-Stench Battle Royale will be free-to-play with in-app purchases and describes Hinomaki Keppūtan as containing “demon-slaying action.”
