The widely anticipated Sakura Wars franchise is back with a brand-new anime installation, Sakura Wars the Animation! And get ready, recruits, because though it’s been a time of peace, war is creeping up once again.

Set in 1940, it’s been 10 years since the great demon invasions, and the World Luxury Operatic Federation has designed a tournament for all to participate in! So how will that work with another impending demonic war? We’ll just have to wait and find out!
Based on the multimedia franchise (including light novels, manga and video games), Sakura Wars the Animation arrives this spring from studio SANZIGEN and director Manabu Ono (Sword Art Online: Alicization). The series stars Ayane Sakura (My Hero Academia) as Sakura, Ayaka Fukuhara (Captain Tsubasa) as Anastasia, Maaya Uchida (GOBLIN SLAYER) as Hatsuho and Youhei Azakami (The Seven Deadly Sins) as Seijuro.
