If you ever wanted to watch a slice of life comedy about a girl living with a dinosaur, well, you’ve come to the right place. Based on the manga from Weekly Young Magazine, Gal & Dino is officially joining the Funimation Spring 2020 anime lineup!

The comedy series will follow Kaede, a Japanese “gal” who brings home a dinosaur one day. We’ll see their day-to-day lives unfold in quirky situations as this goofy-looking dinosaur enjoys culinary delicacies, binges the latest shows on television, and gets wrapped up in the world of fashion while living with Kaede.
From the creative crew that brought you Pop Team Epic, Gal & Dino arrives this April! Studios Kamikaze Douga (JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, Pop Team Epic) and Space Neko Company are working on the project, including Jun Aoki as director, Toru Kanegae as sound director and music from Gin(BUSTED ROSE). A live-action component to the series will air on Funimation as well!
Japanese voice cast for the series includes Miyuri Shimabukuro (Carole & Tuesday, HANEBADO!) as Kaede, Yuko Natsuyoshi (SHOW BY ROCK!! Mashumairesh!!) as Yamada, Yuki Kudo (Blood: The Last Vampire) as Senpai and Seichiro Yamashita (Case File n°221: Kabukicho, orange) as Shota.
