Based on the manga Tamayomi from Mountain Pukuichi, TAMAYOMI: The Baseball Girls is officially joining the Funimation Spring 2020 anime lineup, and it premieres on April 1!

The series follows pitcher Yomi Takeda who, after a failed attempt at climbing the ladder in a junior high baseball tournament, vows off the sport when she heads to high school. But after reuniting with her childhood friend Tamaki Yamazaki (the only one to ever catch her special “Magic Throw”), the two head back to the sport once again.
From studio A-CAT (Amazing Stranger), TAMAYOMI: The Baseball Girls stars Kaori Maeda (Sword Art Online: Alicization) as Yomi Takada and Satomi Amano (High School Fleet Movie) as Tamaki Yamazaki. Toshinori Fukushima (Major: Message) is directing the series, with Touko Machida (Smile Down the Runway) on series composition, Hiroto Morishita (Seven Mortal Sins) as sound director and Kouichi Kikuta (KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on This Wonderful World!) handling character design.
