In March, we asked you what you were watching. The world might look a bit different now than it did even then, but the question is still fair, because it’s always a good idea to turn to the things we love!
And you told us. Some of you were watching classics like Speed Racer and Astro Boy to pass the time. Some of you were reliving truly iconic moments from the likes of Cowboy Bebop, Yu Yu Hakusho and One Piece.

But just saying a show name doesn’t feel like enough. We love the anime we love for so much more than that. We spend hours on forums talking about the latest episodes, write thesis papers about the medium’s greatest works, and watch and rewatch because it makes us feel like, well, us!

So we wanted to do a bit more than just tell you what people are watching. Starting this week with My Hero Academia, we’re talking about each and every one of the 20 series on our list of Fan Favorites, which was curated by you.
Some of our incredible freelance writers will be taking on anime’s best to dive deep into why we love these series, but you’ll have a voice too. At the end of each showcase, you can tell us why you’re watching the series, and what you love about it. From there, we’ll share your love for anime as well!
Right now, staying home and watching anime might be the best thing. But you should know we’re watching right along with you, and we can’t wait to share this with you all! 💜
