OK, we just got the news during FunimationCon 2020 on this one and had to share it: Our amazing partners at Studio Pierrot (Tokyo Ghoul, Naruto) are bringing their latest original anime, Akudama Drive, to Funimation in October!
The series is in a post-war world, where the Kantou and Kansai groups faced off in Japan, dividing the country in two.
As Kansai became a dependent of Kantou, governing officials and police began to lose control to an increase in the presence of criminals–Akudama.
