If you’ve been missing The Promised Neverland since its manga wrapped up earlier this year, you’re in luck: a brand-new chapter is on its way!
Revealed in the 36th/37th issue of Weekly Shonen Jump, author Kaiu Shirai and artist Posuka Demizu announced they will debut a brand-new chapter of The Promised Neverland this winter. The special chapter will run 19 pages long and will be unveiled during the upcoming “The Promised Neverland Special Exhibition” event in Tokyo from December 11 to January 11.

While no details or information have been revealed for the upcoming chapter, fans can only speculate what, if any, revelations it will bring! The highly popular manga series wrapped up in June 2020, and this will be the first additional content for the series since its finale.

The Promised Neverland was adapted into an anime from Aniplex of America and CloverWorks in 2019, with a second season planned for release in 2021.
Since the series’ manga finale, creators Shirai and Demizu have been keeping busy, with their new one-shot manga Shinrei Shashinshi Kono Saburo publishing in the same Weekly Shonen Jump issue that broke the news.
There’s no word yet on when or where you’ll be able to read the lengthy new chapter in English, but new content is always enough to get the heart racing! In the meantime, you can catch up on The Promised Neverland anime, available subbed and dubbed on Funimation.
