The Fall 2020 anime season is fast-approaching, so you know there had to be more info coming for Dropout Idol Fruit Tart! And we CAN’T WAIT for this show.
Released Friday on the official Dropout Idol Fruit Tart Japanese website, a new PV for the series shows off everything from the opening and ending songs to its upcoming Japanese premiere date of October 12!
The opening and ending songs will both be performed by the group formed in the series, Fruit Tart. Both will be performed by the characters’ respective voice actresses: Hiyori Nitta as Ino Sakura; Risa Kubota as Roko Sekino; Haruka Shiraishi as Hayu Nukui; Kyōka Moriya as Hemo Midori; and Reina Kondo as Nina Maehara.

The opening theme song is titled “Kibō Darake no Everyday!” (which translates to “Every Day Is Filled With Hope”), and the ending song is titled “Wonder!” A CD featuring the songs will be released on October 28 in Japan.

Based on the manga by Sou Hamayumiba, Dropout Idol Fruit Tart follows a group of show business dropouts—rookie idol Ino Sakura, promising newcomer Midori Hemo, former child actor Roko Sekino, former model Nina Maehara and former musician Hayu Nukui—who all live in a dormitory together.
