Good news for AZUR LANE fans! A new Twitter account for the series confirmed that the cutesy anime shorts collection AZUR LANE Bisoku Zenshin! will arrive in Japan this January.

Adapted from the AZUR LANE four-panel manga (which is being posted on the official Twitter account), this new collection of anime shorts follows both the 2019 anime adaptation and the 2017 video game.

AZUR LANE Bisoku Zenshin! stars voice actors Nozomi Yamane (Yurikuma Arashi) as Javelin, You Taichi (JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, Fruits Basket) as Ayanami, Maria Naganawa (BNA, Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid) as Laffey, Sumire Uesaka (Carole & Tuesday, Lapis Re:LiGHTs) as Akashi, Rika Abe (Death Parade, HANEBADO!) as Z23, Minami Takahashi (Food Wars!, Black Clover) as Baltimore and Ayane Sakura (My Hero Academia, Overlord) as Prinz Eugen–all reprising their roles from the first series.

Directing the anime is Masato Jinbo (Chaos;Child) with a script by Yu Sato (Akashic Records of Bastard Magic Instructor, Kiratto PriChan) and character designs from Hiromitsu Hagiwara (Natsume’s Book of Friends the Movie: Ephemeral Bond, Nozo x Kimi) who will also work as a chief animation director with Kengo Saito (SSSS.GRIDMAN) on the project.

Shade will serve as composer for the series, with Emi Nitta performing “Longing for!” the first of two theme songs. The other will be performed by Yui Sakakibara and is titled “Mahiru-iro Siesta.”
