My Hero Academia Season 5 is officially arriving in Spring 2021 in Japan! Grab your slightly burnt CAMPOS notebook, young hero, because school is almost back in session!

Following Hero Fes 2020, a My Hero Academia-focused event featuring live readings, news and more from the series cast and crew, the official Japanese Twitter account dropped a brand new trailer and key visual for Season 5!

The trailer reveals that the kids are gonna have themselves a little versus match. Maybe they’re making up for their interrupted forest training? Whatever the case, the teams have assembled, complete with upgraded costumes and…hey, is that Shinso from the Sports Festival?!

My Hero Academia Season 4 ended with Deku in a dreamscape where he stood with the previous users of One For All—some visible, some not. As they watched a confrontation between All For One and his brother, he reached out toward Deku.

Deku woke up before he, and the rest of us, could get any answers. Luckily, we only have to wait until Spring 2021 to make some headway with this still-mysterious quirk.

Unless Class 1-B gets in the way.

We’re not sure how far into the manga this season is gonna go, but we’re excited to go beyond and see what’s next in Izuku Midoriya’s journey. Are you excited for My Hero Academia Season 5? Share this post and let us know!
