It’s a matchup for the ages. In one corner, you have Haley, the career anime aficionado, with genre knowledge like no other. In the other corner, there’s Nick, the shounen captain who recently discovered romantic comedy anime is his new favorite.

Weekly Takeaway: HAHA! SUCCESS! I am now in the lead! Last week, I told some of the regulars over on our Discord that every person who joined Team Haley would get a representative piece of duct tape, and if I beat Nick at the end of the season, I would tape him to a wall in our office when we go back.
Sort of like what elementary schools would do with their principals if the whole school raised a certain amount during a fundraiser (Other schools did that, right? It wasn’t just mine?).
Anyway, I’m now one step closer to fulfilling that promise! And if you aren’t watching Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon, you should be! Even if you didn’t watch Inuyasha (or just have a terrible memory like me), it’s still a great adventure every week.
